PDF Peak is designed with privacy in mind. We process your files only to perform the requested task (e.g., compression, conversion) and never keep them longer than necessary.

• Files you upload are processed either directly in your browser (client-side) or on our servers when needed.
• When server-side processing is required, your files are transmitted securely, processed, and then immediately deleted after the job completes. We do not collect or store your files.
• We do not build user profiles, sell data, or retain any personally-identifiable information. Only minimal, aggregated analytics may be used to monitor performance and improve reliability.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies primarily for theme preferences (light/dark) and session continuity. Temporary job state may be stored in localStorage to improve resilience across page refreshes. No personal data is tracked.

3. Third-Party Services

Where we integrate trusted third-party processors (e.g., for certain conversions), they operate under agreements requiring immediate file deletion after processing. They cannot use your files for any other purpose.

4. Security

We enforce HTTPS for all communications and follow the principle of least privilege. By default, we aim to process files locally in your browser, minimizing exposure to servers entirely.

5. Your Choices

• You can use private browsing or clear cookies anytime; the app will still function.
• All server-side processed files are automatically deleted after the job is completed and downloaded.
• You may contact us to request confirmation of file deletion or to ask questions about data handling.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be communicated by updating this page and adding notices where appropriate.
