1. How this Agreement Works

1.1 Choice of Law

Your relationship is with PDF Peak, operated by Mufungo Geeks. The Services and Software are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. We strive to comply with international data protection standards.

1.2 Privacy

The Data Processing Agreement governs any personal data you provide to us. By using the Services, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

1.3 Modification

We may modify, update, or discontinue the Services at any time without liability to you. If we discontinue a Service, we will provide reasonable notice and may offer alternatives or refunds where applicable.

2. Use of Service

2.1 License

Subject to your compliance with these terms and applicable law, you may access and use the Services. This license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable.

2.2 PDF Peak Intellectual Property

We (and our licensors) remain the sole owner of all right, title, and interest in the Services and Software. We reserve all rights not granted under these terms. You are not allowed to resell, redistribute, or create derivative works from our services.

2.3 Beta and Pre-release Features

We may designate certain features as beta, experimental, or pre-release versions. These may contain bugs, may not function as expected, and may be discontinued at any time. You use them at your own risk.

3. Your Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership of your content. We do not claim any ownership rights to your files or documents.

3.2 Our Access

We will only access, view, or process your content in limited ways necessary to: (a) provide the requested services; (b) respond to support requests; (c) detect, prevent, or address security, technical, or legal issues; (d) improve our services; or (e) enforce these terms.

4. Your Usage

You are responsible for all activity that occurs when using our services. Please use our tools responsibly and in accordance with these terms. Our services are provided free of charge for personal and reasonable business use.

You must use the Services responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. Children under 16 may only use our services with verifiable parental consent where required by law.

You must not misuse the Services. For example, you must not:

• Enable or allow others to use the Services using your access
• Use the Services to construct databases or for data mining
• Access the Services by unauthorized means or circumvent restrictions
• Share content that violates intellectual property rights or applicable law
• Engage in spam, phishing, or other unsolicited communications
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
• Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Service Availability

6.1 Free Service

Our PDF processing services are provided free of charge. We do not charge fees for basic PDF conversion, merging, splitting, or other standard tools.

6.2 Future Premium Features

We may introduce premium features or services in the future. Any such paid services will be clearly marked and subject to separate terms.

6.3 Usage Limits

Our free services are provided "as is" with reasonable usage limits. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free features at any time.

7. Your Indemnification Obligations

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these terms.

8. Disclaimers of Warranties

8.1 Services and Software

The Services and Software are provided "AS-IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.

15. Data Processing Agreement

Our Data Processing Agreement, available at /legal/data-processing-agreement, governs the processing of personal data and supplements these terms.
